An explosion of life and colour at Cancun’s Underwater Museum

Take a look at the latest photos of Cancun’s Underwater Museum… these will take your breath away!

As we follow the development of the breathtaking Cancun Underwater Museum we now have photos of the fantastic achievement this has been for both Cancun and for the artist Jason De Caires Taylor.  The sculptures were created with PH neutral concrete to allow algae and small invertebrates to flourish, to boost the local ecosystem. We can now see how the appearance of the sculptures have changed over time as the coral reefs and marine life are growing.  It is hoped that the underwater museum will lure some of the tourists  away from the area’s natural coral reefs, which have been damaged over the years.
